I'm Nijel Williams. I turn manual, error-prone IT operations into automated, security-first systems across Microsoft 365, cloud, and the network edge.

My path into security started behind a help desk. At Texas A&M's Zachry Engineering Complex I imaged machines, worked ServiceNow tickets, and learned that good IT is mostly about making hard things quietly reliable for other people.
From there I moved into analysis, integrating e-commerce storefronts with ERP backends and leading a small delivery team, then turned fully toward infrastructure and security as a Systems Analyst at EspriGas. I automated user lifecycle with PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API, hardened Microsoft 365 to CIS benchmarks, ran point on an AWS WAF incident response, and replaced an aging Cisco ASA network with FortiGate, Okta SSO, and IPsec tunnels into AWS.
In July 2026 I join AT&T's Technology Development Program to focus on network and 5G security. Alongside the work I'm finishing an M.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance and hold CySA+, PenTest+, and (in progress) SecurityX, building on a B.S. from Texas A&M.
